I went in just looking for something that wasn't cheaply made or commonly found at other stores. I was impressed with the range of products from clothing for all genders and ages to jewelry, to hygiene products to accessories and home decor. I've been to Ghana a few times, various Black/African cultural festivals across the US and various stores, and I definitely feel what they have at Unan is unique. Good quality, especially the fabrics (!), and reasonably priced. If I lived in Chicago I'd visit here regularly, but I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town. Best part of the experience was talking with Dr. Ntamere! He's very personable and provided great customer service, learned he's been running this business for 36 years! My children, wife, and I all found something but we didn't just buy stuff, we had an experience.
